Many butterflies visit Kaweah Oaks
Preserve throughout the year. Monarchs, Swallowtails, Morning Cloaks, Pygmy
Blues and Painted Ladies are just a few that can be seen on a good day.
The Pygmy Blue (pictured below-right) is the smallest butterfly in the
world. Up close however, it seems to have a great big smile!
